I’ve been thinking about starting this blog for a while, and here we are. This is my personal space to share whatever’s on my mind – no corporate filters, no specific agenda, just me writing about things that interest me.

What You’ll Find Here

I’m into a bunch of different things, and they’ll all show up here eventually. Tech and self-hosting are big ones for me. There’s something satisfying about running your own services and actually owning your data. I’ll share what I’m building, what breaks (because something always does), and what actually works.

Weather’s another fascination of mine. Not just checking if it’ll rain tomorrow, but understanding the patterns, tracking storms, and watching how systems develop. Living in New England gives plenty of material – if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes, right?

Crypto’s part of the mix too. The technology, the markets, the chaos – it’s all interesting to watch and participate in. I’ll share thoughts on projects that catch my attention and maybe some lessons learned along the way.

But honestly, this blog isn’t limited to those topics. Sometimes I might write about a random project I’m working on, a problem I solved, or just something that got me thinking. That’s the beauty of having your own space – you write what you want.

Why Blog in 2025?

Social media’s great for quick thoughts, but sometimes you need more than 280 characters. Sometimes you want to actually explain something, work through an idea, or just have a record of what you were thinking about. Plus, there’s something appealing about having your own domain, your own platform, where you control everything.

This isn’t about building an audience or becoming an influencer. It’s about having a place to write, to document, to share. If people find it useful or interesting, that’s great. If not, that’s fine too.

What’s Next?

I’ve got a growing list of topics to write about. Some technical guides for self-hosting setups that took me way too long to figure out. Some thoughts on interesting weather patterns. Maybe some crypto market observations. We’ll see where it goes.
